Alright, fiction-reader friends! Authors around the world are trying to give editors what they want to see. And editors around the world are trying to put books in front of you that you want to read.
So would you be willing to answer a few questions for everyone out there who is trying to give you what you are looking for? Leave a comment for me with your four answers. I may or may not send a free book of your favorite genre to one of you who comments.
1. Do you prefer Christian fiction? Or general market?
2. What genre do you pick up most frequently (historical, romance, thriller, contemp)?
3. What amount are you willing to spend on a book? (For example: Will you put it back on the shelf if it’s $15? Will you search through the $0.99 books on Amazon? Or are you only willing to pay full-price for your favorite author?)
4. Are you author-loyal? Will you find an author you love and buy every book of theirs that comes out?

Let’s see… I like Christian and general market fiction, clean but not sanitized. I like contemporary, some historical, mysteries, and romantic suspense. I will pay full price for a print copy of a book I want, but I like a bargain too. And yes, I’m quite loyal. You know I tore through about 7 of Kristen Heitzmann’s books when I discovered her for the first time late last year, and I always buy Sarah Jio’s books the day they come out if I can. Lots of times I’ll give an author “favorite” status after one Really good read.
I’ll also chime in with what I’d like to see–how about more fiction about married couples?

I am willing to pay full price if all those things work out lol
4. Yes I am author-loyal but not exclusive. I will read as much as possible
