I thoroughly enjoyed the book! Gill paints a realistic picture of a hard topic without being inappropriate or distasteful to a sensitive reader. There is hope!

I really liked this book and the story! I think it is great that the writer goes into detail the life style of the characters in the book. Living in America, it is hard to believe how life is in other countries. The author is also touching on a real problem all over the world. Sex trafficking and slavery is real!
I like this book and this author!

Behind Lead Doors is a powerful story of freedom from the gulag and human trafficking. Taddeo, who is rescued from the gulag, goes undercover insider a human trafficking ring to exposure the ring leaders. To his surprise, his younger sister Fiamma is captured, and she’s equally surprised to see him.
I couldn’t stop reading it and wanted to know the outcome of the story.

I loved this book. The story swept me up and I finished the book in 2 days. Her characters are rich in detail, and the story moves at the perfect pace. Historical fiction is my favorite genre, and Behind Lead Doors did not disappoint! It’s a beautiful tale of redemption from the gulag and sex trafficking. I couldn’t put it down.
