Information storage

If you desire to sign up for my newsletter, know that first and last names as well as individual email addresses are stored in MailChimp who is GDPR-compliant and used solely for the purpose of communicating to the reader regarding sales, updates, new releases, or other pertinent career news for C.D. Gill. At any point  you may withdraw your name from my list by unsubscribing or emailing me to ask that your data be changed or deleted completely from my records.

I use Google Analytics to measure an aggregate of visitor data to my website, but do not store individual IP addresses. I view non-personally-identifying information like browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor on Google Analytics, and occasionally may store such information in a report to track my web performance. My purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors use my website. If the opportunity presents itself, I reserve the right to use reports of non-personally identifying information in a talk or class that I give if it enhances the topic.

No credit card information or money-related information is gathered or stored on my site. All money transactions go through Paypal.

Any names and addresses used for shipping physical book copies are stored in my WooCommerce store. However, I only ship and sell physical book copies in the US.
