I wouldn’t have described myself as a super traveler this time last year. In my heart I was and always will be, because that’s what curiosity does for you. It breeds an insatiable desire for discovery and travel. But since the start of 2014, I have traveled more than I ever imagined.
Here’s where I’ve been:
Vancouver/Vancouver Island/Thetis Island, British Columbia
Atlanta, GA
Greenville, SC
New Orleans, LA
Biloxi, MS
Gulfport, MS
Mobile, AL
Chicago, IL
Rockford, IL
Knoxville, TN
Harrisonburg, VA
Charlottesville, VA
Frederick, MD
Hilton Head, SC
And I have plans to visit Wisconsin, Ohio, and Chicago before the year’s end.
Exhausting? Sometimes. But totally awesome. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for the opportunity to meet people, hear their stories, enjoy sunshine and blue skies, eat amazing food, and experience new places (and some familiar)–usually with my two dachshunds in tow.
I have no idea what adventures 2015 hold, but I have a feeling it’s going to be awesome to be on the road again. Some of you are road warriors that never stop moving while others travel only when there’s vacation time to use. Regardless of your frequency, leave a comment and share where you’re headed in 2015 or where you’ve been this last year!!
London
DC
San Francisco
Austin
Amsterdam
Johannesburg
Cape Town
Maseru
Seattle
NYC
Montego Bay
No small trips for you, David!! Go big or stay home, huh? Any long trips planned for 2015 yet? Or is that all still in the works?
There were some small trips too (New Orleans, Jacksonville, Pensacola, Tampa, Philadelphia)
Those were the highlights
Not sure on 2014. Maybe somewhere fun in Europe?
C is anti-Africa :-/
